Shop fees & compliance

Your automatic fees

What every invoice already adds, out the door.

The supplies percentage and tax are applied to every estimate and invoice automatically. Change them under Settings → Money rules. This page does not change how invoices total. It is a place to define the flat fees your advisors add by hand, and a checker that flags repair orders that look like they are missing one.

State & compliance

Where you operate decides how supply and hazmat fees may be charged.

Pick your state so the compliance notes match your rules. Every state limits how "shop supplies" and hazmat fees can be charged; California (BAR) is the strictest.

Guidance only, not legal advice. Confirm current fee rules with your state board.

Flat fees you charge by hand

Hazmat / waste disposal, tire disposal, and anything else that is not a percentage. Defining them keeps advisors consistent.

Compliance check

Approved repair orders that look like they are missing a fee you expect.

Scanned the last 54 approved repair orders. 54 look like they are missing a fee you told me to expect. Open each to confirm, then add the line or void the flag by charging it next time. This is a review list, it does not change any invoice.
